Baptism

One of the families that I had the opportunities to teach during my mini mission got baptized. They invited me to both their wedding and their baptism. It was beautiful! I was so impressed with the support of the ward. There were many members there and there were representatives from the Relief Society, the Elders Quorum and the Young Men to welcome them each. They had all the books of the church available to them as gifts and while they were changing clothes the members dedicated the books.

me and my former companion - Hermana Arcos at the baptism
Alejandro and Maria looked SO happy. They were glowing, truly. It was beautiful to see. I took a lot of pictures from their wedding and put them in a book for them to have as a memory. They were SO excited to have photos from their wedding and everyone wanted to see them. They told me that they didn't even have one picture of their family. It felt good to contribute to their happiness!

Hi!
Thats so cool that you got to go to thier wedding. I have only been to one wedding. I love hearing about all the things that you are doing in Argentina. :) I like hearing about the foods that you eat too. That birthday party at that place was so cool. Maybe I will take a journey to Argentina some day. I think that i will love it. Because if you love it, I am sure to love it. :) I have been to my brothers and my own baptism. They were very special times. If I lived in Argentina then I wouldn't live there for very long because sometimes I love the cold. Maybe when I am older, I will take a vacation to Argentina every year. I wish that I can try all the foods that you are bloging. I love hearing about all of those foods! Oh by the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)! I want to make a blog when I am older so that if I go to Argentina, then I can tell the world about it. (And maybe I will have a 6th grade class to write.):) I wish that I was on a vacation right now in Argentina with you.

Thank-you!

Maddy - yes. I did know the family that got married and baptized. I got to be a missionary again for a few days and they were one of the families that my companion and I taught.

Chris - that is a good question and you are right. There are many religions that have baptisms. When we are baptized we show a willingness to follow Christ. This particular baptism was for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Camisha - you made me smile! I am glad that I can inspire you to see the world. Wherever you and whatever you do I am sure that you will do great things. :)

Cordon - The pie was EXCELLENT, the flowers were a gift and you are right I really need to go to a soccer game. Soccer is VERY popular here. I'll keep you posted on that one.

Payton - thanks for the birthday wishes and I am glad that I can share my blog with you. I am sorry that your friend has gone. That is always really hard, but you are such a friendly person that I am sure that you will have many more friends :) I haven't heard much about Halloween. I will get back to you on that one. I will let you know what I see on that day. What are you going to be for Halloween?

Hi Miss Thomas
This is Payton again replying you question. All the teachers in the school pick a topic on what you are supposed be
Mrs.Armstrong chose that we had to be someone from Greece i am being Hera the goddess of Heaven. If you what do you want to be? [write back once you know:)] I was so exited for the Tango because dance and music are my most favorite things to do and listen to[especially David Archuletta] he did not win American Idol you probably watched it but he is my favorite singer]. Mrs.Armstrong told us about the girl that got thrown up in the air by this massive cowboy:):):):):):):):):).
Now that was pretty funny. That would be fun if you came back and told us how to tango. I have been at the least three or four dance classes well GTG
bye write bacj please

your friend Payton
